Ganzhou Rare Earth Metals Exchange starts operation

On the morning of 31 December, Ganzhou Rare Earth Metals Exchange, the unique online trading spot exchange of rare earths, tungsten and other metals in China, started operation in Ganzhou Economic Development Zone.
As a bulk commodity trading platform, a key project of Ganzhou, the exchange is solely invested by Ganzhou Rare Earth Group and other state-owned companies. With a registered capital of RMB100 million (USD14.35 million), the exchange is engaged in spot trading activities and market services of rare earths, tungsten, cobalt, tin, molybdenum and other metals as well as their derivatives.
