Battery project invested by Veken Technology and LG Chem goes into operation

A ceremony was held on December 16th to put the battery project jointly invested by Veken Technology, LG Chem and the Government of Xinjian District in Nanchang, Jiangxi, into operation.
The above three parties signed a cooperation agreement for the project in October 2019. The project has total registered capital of USD56.22 million and will focus on R&D, production and marketing of small polymer lithium batteries. The phase one project, which has a designed production capacity of 10 million batteries per month, will be divided into two stages in construction and the stage one project has a designed production capacity of 5 million batteries per month. The construction of the phase one project will be finished completely within three years and the construction of the phase two project will be lunched in the future.
