Yunnan Xinyao Semiconductor Material to build indium phosphide monocrystalline wafer project

On the evening of December 26, Yunnan Germanium announced that the board of directors of the company agreed to build indium phosphide monocrystalline wafer project by its subsidiary, Yunnan Xinyao Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd. The production line of the project will have the capacity to produce 150,000 pieces of 4-inch indium phosphide monocrystalline wafers. The total investment of the project is RMB323.67 million (USD46.25 million).
After the completion of the project, Xinyao Semiconductor Materials will further enrich its products in the field of semiconductor materials, which will help to consolidate and enhance its industrial base and improve its core competitiveness.
