Yunnan issues total control quota for rare earth ore mining in 2019

The Department of Natural Resources of Yunnan and the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Yunnan issued an announcement on December 16 to decompose and release the second batch of total control quotas for rare earth mining in 2019.
The announcement mentioned that according to the notice and related regulations of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Natural Resources on issuing the total control quotas for rare earth mining and smelting separation in 2019, after the study by the Provincial Department of Natural Resources and the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, it was determined that the second batch of total control quotas for rare earth mining in 2019 will be 30t. The reserved rare earth ore mining quotas is 120t, which is used for the adjustment of the province's control quotas. The details are announced as follows:
