Goldenberg Mining targets 500,000t of high grade bauxite in 2020

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 16 Dec 19 - Goldenberg Mining Inc, a bauxite producer in Turkey, is scheduled to produce around 500,000t of high grade bauxite Al2O3 53%min SiO2 7%max in 2020, a source from the company reported to Asian Metal.
According to the source, they started bauxite mining operation from this February and produced around 500,000t of bauxite Al2O3 50-53% SiO2 7-10% in total this year, based on the annual production capacity of 1.5 million tonnes. "We exported around 100,000t of bauxite Al2O3 53%min SiO2 7%max to China this year from this July till date," said the source, who now keeps around 150,000t of bauxite in stock now. In 2019, they produced around 150,000t of high grade bauxite in total.
They export low grade bauxite Al2O3 50%min SiO2 10%max to Canada and Europe for cement production.
Current mainstream prices of Turkish bauxite Al2O3 53%min SiO2 7%max stand at USD58-60/t CIF China.
