The United States launches the second anti-dumping sunset review of EMD from China

On December 2, 2019, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued a notice to launch the second anti-dumping sunset review and filing investigation on electrolytic manganese dioxide (EMD) originating in China. At the same time, the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) launched the second anti-dumping sunset review of industrial injury investigation in this case, to examine whether the substantial injury caused by the import of the products involved to the domestic industry of the United States will continue or recur within a reasonable and foreseeable period if the current anti-dumping measures are cancelled. Interested parties shall register with the U.S. Department of Commerce within 10 days from the date of this announcement. Stakeholders shall submit their comments to the U.S. International Trade Commission before January 2, 2020, and to the U.S. International Trade Commission no later than February 13, 2020 on the adequacy of the response to the case.
