Chaoyang Baisheng Titanium Industry Co., Ltd. and CHINALCO Shenyang Nonferrous Metal Processing Co., Ltd. constructed Chaoyang Baisheng titanium industry park by transforming the old enterprise into a joint venture and cooperation mode. At present, the construction of the industrial park is advancing steadily.
It is reported that Chaoyang Baisheng titanium industry park includes the capacity expansion and reconstruction project of Chaoyang Baisheng Titanium Industry Co., Ltd. and the first, second and third phases of Baisheng titanium industry project of Chaoyang Liucheng economic development zone. The total investment of the project is RMB1 billion (USD0.14 billion), the total output value can reach RMB4.3 billion (USD0.61 billion), and the total profit and tax paid is predicted to be RMB307 million (USD43.48 million).
Chaoyang Baisheng Titanium Industry Co., Ltd. capacity expansion and reconstruction project, namely Liucheng service industry cluster area total plant area project, covers an area of 209 mu, with a total investment of RMB190 million (USD26.91 million). At present, all plant bodies have been completed. After the project is completed, the production capacity will be increased from 10,000 tons to 20,000 tons. Due to the improvement of process technology, the cost per ton will be reduced by 15%. After the project is completed, the total plant of Baisheng can achieve an annual output value of RMB1.5 billion (USD0.21 billion) and tax revenue of RMB80 million (USD11.33 million).
The first phase of Baisheng Titanium Industry project is the project with an annual output of 40,000 tons of titanium tetrachloride and 5,000 tons of zirconium tetrachloride. The total investment is RMB160 million (USD22.66 million), covering an area of 113.42 mu, the output value of the project is about RMB600 million (USD84.98 million), and the profit and tax is predicted to be RMB38 million (USD5.38 million). By the end of 2019, all civil works have been completed, and it is expected to enter the trial production stage in April 2020. The second phase of the project is the project with an annual output of 30,000 tons of chloride titanium dioxide, 20,000 tons of titanium sponge, 30,000 tons of electrolytic magnesium and 1,000 tons of zirconium sponge, with a total investment of RMB470 million (USD66.56 million), covering an area of 93.08 mu, and an output value of RMB2.098 billion (USD0.30 billion) and a tax revenue of RMB180 million (USD25.49 million).
