Chenhong Tech starts construction of secondary lead resource utilization project

On October 25, Ningxia Chenhong Technology Co., Ltd. started its secondary lead resource utilization project of 200,000tpy in Majiatan area of Yinchuan High Tech Zone.
The project is planned to cover an area of 200 mu, with a total investment of 1.16 billion yuan (164 million US dollars), of which 460 million yuan (65.17 million US dollars) is planned for phase I. After the completion of the project, 300,000 tons of waste lead-acid batteries and 33,300 tons of lead scrap will be disposed annually, and the project would reach annual production capacities of 200,000 tons of secondary lead, 30,000 tons of sulfuric acid and 30,000 tons of refined lead. It is estimated that the annual output value will be more than 3 billion yuan (425 million US dollars) and the tax revenue will be 320 million yuan (45.33 million US dollars).
