Ganzhou: Five tungsten companies found piling over 16,000t of potentially risky tungsten scrap

On April 27, a provincial-level environmental monitoring group sent its feedback to Ganzhou city government that during its monitoring visit from 30 November to 23 December, 2018, the group found that Ganzhou city had made positive results in local environmental protection, but there were still some issues with potential risks.
A local company Quannan Guanshan Tungsten Co., Ltd . was found piling up waste rock and sand in a length of six kilometers in its plant and mine areas, and the piling was still extending.
As for solid waste management, five local tungsten companies including Zhangyuan Tungsten and Jiangwu H.C . Starck Tungsten Products were found piling up over 16,000t of risky wastes including tungsten scrap, and the piling was still increasing.
