Lomon Billions announced on 26 February that in order to make full use of the advantages of titanium resources, water and electricity in Panxi region and enhance the utilization value of titanium resources in Panxi, on February 26, the company and the People's Government of Yanbian County signed an investment agreement about the upgrading and transformation from 500,000tpy of ilmenite to chloride titanium slag project. They plan to invest a total of 2 billion yuan in the project to produce 300,000tpy of chloride titanium slag, which is used for the production of chloride titanium dioxide and titanium sponge. After the completion of the project, it will promote the scientific and technological progress of China's titanium industry, improve the quality of titanium dioxide products and the upgrading of titanium dioxide products, and change the industrial pattern of titanium dioxide industry, which is dominated by sulfuric acid method.
