GAC and CATL begin to construct power battery project

On 23 December, the opening ceremony for the GAC Era power battery project which was established by GAC and CATL was held in Guangzhou GAC Zhilian New Energy Auto Industrial Park.
GAC Era mainly focuses on development, production and sale of power battery system. GAC, GAC New Energy and CATL holds 25%, 26% and 49% shares of the company. The project was invested with RMB300 million and would be launched with the first phase by late 2019.
