Jiangxi Copper Corporation establishes rare earth research institute

On 14 December, the rare earth research institute under JCC Institute of Technology Co., Ltd. was established in Sichuan JCC Rare Earth Metals Co., Ltd., which is located in rare earth industrial park of Mianning county, Sichuan province. The rare earth research institute will further improve the company's independent innovation and core competitiveness by focusing on key technical issues on environmental-friendly beneficiation, smelting and separation and deep-processing of rare earth.
The institute will study strategic technology that supports mid-and-long term development of the company and cutting-edge technology in the industry, devotes to development and popularization of new products, new processes and new technology, obtain, analyze and determine relevant industry technology, carry out technological cooperation with Chinese and overseas universities and research bodies, introduce and train core technology talents, research and develop based on scientific research development strategy of JCC and Sichuan JCC Rare Earth Metals.
