Hebei Songhe and Chilwee sign agreement on secondary lead project

It is reported that Hebei Songhe Recycling Resources Co., Ltd. and Chilwee Group on 25 October 2018 signed a cooperation agreement to build a comprehensive disposal project of 600,000tpy of waste batteries and lead scrap.
With an investment of RMB2 billion, the project was subdivided into two phases and phase I has an annual processing capacity of 300,000t for waste battery and lead scrap as well as production capacity of 200,000t for secondary lead and alloy lead, 10,000t of lead accessory, 20,000t of electrolyte and 45,000t of plastic material. After completion, the project would become one of the biggest lead scrap disposal projects in North China and the annual sales value would reach RMB4 billion with an annual tax of RMB360 million.
