Chinese finance and taxation authorities to lift VAT export rebate rates for some metal products

On September 5, the Chinese Ministry of Finance and State Administration of Taxation announced jointly that VAT export rebate rates for electromechanical and cultural products will be lifted with effect from September 15, 2018.
The Product List of Lifted Export Rebate Rates shows that export rebate rates for metal products including aluminum, copper, lead, tin, nickel, tungsten, molybdenum and germanium will be adjusted to various extents.
