Jiangsu to conduct environmental inspection

Jiangsu Province decided to conduct special inspection on cases highlighted by central environmental inspection teams and provincial government. Six inspection teams will be formed to listen to reports, look up materials and carry out site inspection within about ten days starting from late August.
The following will be involved: update of six classical cases criticized by MEE during central environmental acceptance check, update of natural reserve inspection and chemical industry pollution control in Yangtze River Economic Belt, implementation of 16 key provincial-level programs and four county-level programs, update of rectification in Taihu, local air pollution control plan and implementation, etc.
Strictly adhering to the responsibility system, relevant authorities and personnel will be responsible for specific issues.
