China's steel product exports down by 15.4% YOY in Jul

In July 2018, China exported 5.886 million tons of steel products, down by 15.2% from the previous month and 15.4% from the same period of last year. From January to July, China exported 41.307 million tons of steel products, down by 13.6% year-on-year. In July, China imported 1.027 million tons of steel products, down by 1.3% from the previous month and up by 4.8% year-on-year; from January to July, China's cumulative imports of steel was 7.698 million tons, down by 1.1% year-on-year.
In July, China imported 89.959 million tons of iron ore and concentrates, an increase of 8.1% from the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 4.3%. From January to July, China imported a total of 620.652 million tons of iron ore and concentrates, down by 0.7% year-on-year.
In July, China exported 816,000 tons of coke and semi-coke, up by 13.3% year-on-year; from January to July, China exported 5.607 million tons of coke and semi-coke, up by 16.4% year-on-year.
