1. Market Highlights
Chinese indium ingot 99.99%min market was in a stalemate in July with limited end demand and producers' low desire to sell. It is the traditional off-season for Chinese indium ingot market in July, during which consumers mainly consumed stocks due to rare orders from downstream target material industry and only made purchase based on the rigid demand, refusing to build stocks of more than one month under capital pressure. Processing plants were inactive to sell with no profits as a result of high prices for crude indium 99%min. Smelting plants were also reluctant to sell faced with low prices for indium ingot. The export market saw rare transactions as European market almost stopped running during the summer vacation in July.
