EU initiates sunset review AD investigation on tungsten electrodes from China for second time

On May 31, 2018, EU issued the initiation of sunset review AD (anti-dumping) investigation on tungsten electrodes originating in China for the second time in response to the complaint lodged by two EU producers on February 27, 2018, saying that if the current AD measures are cancelled, the dumping and injury to EU industries resulted from the involved imports of tungsten electrodes from China would go on or happen again
Interested parties should submit the comments on the investigation within 37 days from the date when the announcement was released.
On December 17, 2005, EU made AD investigation on tungsten electrodes originating in China, and conducted positive final determination on March 13, 2007. On March 9, 2012, it initiated sunset review AD investigation on the involved products originating in China for the first time and announced the final sunset review AD determination for the first time on June 4, 2013.
. Involved products were under EU CN codes ex 8101 99 10 and ex 8515 90 80 and under TARIC codes 8101 99 10 10 and 8515 90 80 10 . The investigation period of dumping was from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018 and the analysis period of injury was from January 1, 2014 to the end of dumping investigation period.Interested parties should submit the comments on the investigation within 37 days from the date when the announcement was released.
