Pakistan makes positive AD preliminary determination on color coated steel coils/sheets from China

On December 19, 2017, National Tariff Commission of Pakistan released a notice of which preliminary anti-dumping determination on color coated steel coils/sheets originating in and/or exported from China and South Africa was made. According to the determination, the products involved in the anti-dumping investigation under Pakistan Customs Tariff Nos. 7210.7020, 7210.7090, 7212.4010 and 7212.4090 had indeed caused material injury on the domestic industries in Pakistan, but the country would not adopt provisional anti-dumping measures. Interested parties could apply for hearing within 30 days from the day when the notice was announced.
On June 9, 2017, National Tariff Commission of Pakistan initiated anti-dumping investigation on color coated steel coils/sheets originating in and/or exported from China and South Africa based on the application lodged by Pakistani producer International Steels Limited on April 10, 2017. The investigation period of dumping was from January 1 to December 31, 2016, and that of injury was from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2016.
