During August, prices for different products in the Chinese titanium market fluctuated variously. In the raw material market, prices for titanium concentrate still remained stable and transactions were active; prices for high titanium slag remained firm and suppliers produced and delivered the material in line with orders they had signed; prices for titanium tetrachloride dropped sharply and supply was sufficient; prices for titanium sponge continued to move down and market players held a strong watch-and-see attitude; and prices for downstream titanium products dropped and transactions were limited.
