Nanshan Aluminum sees net profit up by 31.71% YOY in H1 of 2017

Nanshan Aluminum reported on late 25 August that the company had achieved an operating revenue of RMB7.554 billion in H1 of 2017, up by 22.34% YOY, with net profit attributable to shareholders up by 31.71% YOY to RMB742 million. The rise should be attributed to the constantly rising prices of aluminum products during H1 of 2017, increasing sales and optimized products structure.
The company has formed an industrial chain based on electricity, alumina, primary aluminum, aluminum extrusions and rolling materials.
The company actively adjusted strategy and constantly optimized structure towards high-tech and value-added products, building production lines of 200,000tpy of special aluminum alloy based on aircraft plates and auto panels, and 14,000tpy of large precise moulds based on aerospace, energy and sea castings. The business has become a new profit and income source of the company.
High-end aluminum products are still the key product of Nanshan Aluminum. Besides construction and industrial materials and aluminum products, the company continues to promote the development of aluminum materials for CRH. Their auto panels has obtained companies’ recognition and the company strengthened cooperation with US NEV manufactures. Meanwhile, they worked together with aircraft companies home and abroad, undertaking the task of researching airplane C919. They also supplied materials for Boeing after products being approved in June.
