Hoshine Silicon's IPO approved

According to an announcement released by China Securities Regulatory Commission on August 29 at night, the initial public offering (IPO) of Hoshine Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. was approved, with Citic Securities being its sponsor institution.
Hoshine Silicon mainly engages in research, production and marketing of silicon-based materials. According to the prospectus previously, it planned to issue no more than 200 million shares on Shanghai Stock Exchange to raise about RMB1.939 billion, with RMB300 million used for supplement of working capital and repayment of bank loan and the remaining being invested to 100,000tpy-capacity siloxane and downstream deep processing project of Hoshine Silicon (Shanshan) Industry Co., Ltd.
