GCL System Integration Technology sees net profit of RMB24.01millon in H1 2017

GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd. released semi-annual report of 2017 on the evening of August 25. During the reporting period, it realizedan turnover of RMB6.384 billion, and the net profit attributable to listed shareholders was RM24.0127million.
According to the statistics, during the first half of 2017 China's newly installed PV capacity reached 24.40GW, increasing by 9% YOY, among which, the distributed PV capacity reached 7.11GW, up by 2.9 times YOY. The newly installed PV capacity increased steadily, and the distributed capacity achieved explosive growth. The whole PV industry has maintained a sound momentum for development.
The company revealed that they seized the opportunity of strong demand for PV in the second quarter and sold 2.2GW in H1 2017, accounting for about 9% of China’s total newly installed PV capacity in the same period. It has played an important role in the domestic PV modules market， achieving more than RMB100 million of profit in the second quarter.
The semi-annual report showed that GCL System Integration Technology produced high-efficiency batteries of 900MW in H1 2017, expecting to produce 2GW in the whole year of 2017. It has commenced quantity production of polycrystalline black silicon PERC battery based on the diamond wire cutting with an average of 20.4% production efficiency, a leading production level in this industry.
