Rizhao Inspection and Quarantine Bureau provides assistance on construction of Jingpin base of Rizhao Steel

No. 1 hot blast stove of BF was lighted successfully at 9 a.m. of 6 August in Jingpin base of SD Steel Group Rizhao Co., Ltd., which is crucial to construction of phase 1 blast furnaces in Jingpin base, and also marks the whole production lines have entered the countdown period. It is reported that construction of Jingpin base is a key construction project in Shandong with the total investment of RMB45 billion. High-end products such as automotive panels and appliance plate will account for more than 60% of the full capacity after the formal operation. The project officially started in June 2013.
In order to provide high quality service to Jingpin base, Rizhao Inspection and Quarantine Bureau tracks the progress of construction and equipment introduction all the way, optimizes the inspection process of imported equipment and takes facilitation measures such as pre inspection, joint inspection and concentrated inspection to advanced imported equipment and key components of the project; as for equipment assembled in different places, the Bureau assigns staff to Beijing, Taiyuan, Inner Mongolia and other places for inspections to ensure that the equipment be installed timely, urging to put the project into production as soon as possible. Rizhao Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has inspected 52 batches or 895 boxes of imported equipment and key components with the value of USD572 million since August 2016 when the base imported the first batch of equipment.
