Shaoguan praised for reducing overcapacity of iron and steel industry

Recently, special central inspection teams on banning substandard steel went to Shaoguan to check elimination of overcapacity of iron and steel industry. The teams went to companies in Renhua County, Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County and Wengyuan County for site inspection and fully affirmed the overcapacity elimination work of iron and steel industry, thinking that Shaoguan has dismantled much equipment such as intermediate frequency furnaces according to national requirements.
It is known that three companies in Wengyuan County including Wengyuan County Dingyuan Metalware Co., Ltd. are on the list of backward iron and steel enterprises and three companies in Shaoguan including Tenghui Special Steel Co., Ltd. are classified as backward steelmaking equipment iron and steel companies. Nevertheless, relative departments have paid high attention to the issue and successfully finished dismantling equipment such as intermediate frequency furnaces before June 30.
