China's steel exports down by 32.4% YOY in July on 6.96 million tons

According to statistics from China Customs Statistics, China exported 6.96 million tons of steel in July 2017, up by 150,000t MOM while down by 32.4% YOY; exports of steel accumulated at 47.95 million tons in China from January to July, down by 28.7% YOY.
In July, China imported 980,000t of steel, down by 150,000t MOM and down by 13.3% YOY: steel imports accumulated at 7.79 million tons from January to July in China, up by 2.6% YOY.
China’s imports of iron ore and concentrate in July reached 86.25 million tons in July, down by 8.45 million tons MOM and down by 2.4% YOY and the figure in the first seven months of this year reached 625.43 million tons, up by 7.5% YOY.
In July, China exported 720,000t of coke, up by 20,000t MOM while down by 34.5% YOY: exports of the material reached 4.82 million tons from January to July, down by 17.7% YOY.
In July, China imported 980,000t of steel, down by 150,000t MOM and down by 13.3% YOY: steel imports accumulated at 7.79 million tons from January to July in China, up by 2.6% YOY.
