China Minmetals Rare Earth: Subsidiary companies resume production

In response to questions related to company production and raw material purchase, China Minmetals Rare Earth (“the Company”) announces that some of its subsidiary companies, including Gan County Hongjin Rare Earth Co., Ltd., Dingnan Dahua New Materials Resources Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Jianfeng Minmetals Rare Earth Co., Ltd. have resumed production according to their production plans. The Company makes purchases of raw materials under the principle of market purchasing and its sources of raw materials include Ganzhou (Jiangxi province) and other regions both in China and foreign countries. The Company also holds that during the year of 2017, China is still pressing on with the crackdown campaign on illegal activities in the rare earth industry and this will impose positive impacts upon increasing rare earth prices and standardized development of this industry.
