Binzhou upgrading demonstration project of high end aluminum industry clusters approved by provincial professors

According to news from Commission of Economy and Information Technology of Binzhou city, Shandong province recently, the transformation and upgrading demonstration project of high end aluminum industry clusters, one of seven demonstration projects on transformation and upgrading of pillar industries supported by Shandong province, smoothly passed the review and approval of provincial professors and thus will receive at least RMB10 million of special funds from the Finance Department of Shandong per year for 3 years consecutively.
In order to implement a series of requirements of the central government to revitalize substantial economy, the Commission of Economy and Information Technology and the Finance Department of Shandong made notification jointly in April to conduct and support transformation and upgrading demonstration project of industry clusters. In specific, the Finance Department of Shandong will raise RMB1 billion in 3 years from 2017 to 2019 to cultivate about 10 industry clusters for pillar industry, about 30 industry clusters for leading industry and about 60 industry clusters for special industry.
After over 10 years of development, aluminum industry has become the pillar industry of Binzhou. Binzhou has formed aluminum industry clusters of complete industry chains with Weiqiao Group as the leader and Innovation Group, Sanxing Group and other major enterprises as supporters and has formed important aluminum production base in China and even in the world. There are not only primary products such as molten aluminum, aluminum ingot, aluminum rod, aluminum plate, but also high value-added products such as automobile hub, shell of gearbox and aviation aluminum materials within the aluminum clusters.
