HR strip prices in major markets of China witnessed an upward trend during this month mainly supported by higher raw material costs and increase in steel mills’ list prices. Nevertheless, the market sales performance continued to be bad as demand from downstream customers remained weak amid the traditionally low season. Insiders do not expect the price to rise further in the coming month.
