During May, Chinese titanium market was sluggish with great fluctuations. As for upstream raw materials, mainstream prices for ilmenite dropped sharply; prices for high titanium slag were unchanged; those for titanium tetrachloride moved up substantially; and those for titanium sponge edged up with slack transactions; downstream titanium mill products market slowed down and entered a low season.
