Jordan levies 3-year safeguard measures tariff on imported aluminum materials

WTO Safeguard Measures Committee released a report on May 19th that Jordan has made final verdict of safeguard measures on imported aluminum bars, rods, sections and profiled bars and will levy safeguard measures tariffs on these products for 3 years.
In the first year (from May 15th, 2017 to May 14th, 2018), Jordan will levy tariffs of JD400/t on above products; in the second year (from May 15th, 2018 to May 14th, 2019) and the third year (from May 15th, 2019 to May 14th, 2020), the tariffs will be JD350/t and JD300/t respectively.
Customs codes for above products are 7604.211, 7604.101, 7604.212 and 7604.291 respectively.
