Selenium powder prices showed upward momentum in general in the first half of April in European and American selenium powder markets, but European selenium powder prices tended to be stable with gradually limited demand in European market. Market transactions continued to be limited and prices showed downward momentum in late this month. It’s expected that selenium powder prices will bear pressure and decrease in May.
Chinese tellurium metal prices kept firm this week, but transactions were still limited. Market participants believed that the rise of tellurium metal prices lacked support because downstream consumer industry entered off-season and it’s expected that tellurium metal prices will remain stable in May.
