Affected by the environmental protection inspection during April, producers’ operating rate was restricted with prices moving up after hitting bottom; but consumers were cautious about purchasing and the market saw sporadic transactions due to slightly sluggish demand. Prices for tungsten concentrate and APT both moved up by about RMB5,500/t (USD797/t) against those of last month; while prices for tungsten carbide powder increased by about RMB7/kg (USD1.01/kg) accordingly.
