Zhongying Zhihe commences production of Ni-MH battery suitable for wide temperature range

On May 9, Zhongying Zhihe Jilin Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (“Zhongying Zhihe” or the “Company”) held an opening and signing ceremony for business cooperation. The Company inked strategic cooperation agreements with Jilin Zhongke Yinghua Caixing Investment Co., Ltd., FAW Bus and Coach Co., Ltd, and other seven companies, and announced that its production line of Ni-MH battery suitable for wide temperature range came on stream.
It is reported that the Ni-MH battery suitable for wide temperature range is the latest achievement made jointly by Zhongying Zhihe and Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences (CIAC). The battery, which can be used in the temperature ranging from minus 45℃ to 60℃ with strong competitive advantage in the development of new energy vehicles and energy-storage devices in the alpine region, is a major breakthrough in the new energy field. The project is divided into two phases and two production lines will be constructed in phase I with one having been finished and put into operation. The company expects to achieve output value of tens of millions of yuan this year. Construction of the second production line has commenced and is expected to be completed in June 2017. The company can have an annual production capacity of 120 million watt-hours with annual output value of about RMB500 million after the completion of the project.
