Shanghai Putailai's lithium ion battery material project of RMB5 billion starts construction

The foundation stone laying ceremony of the lithium ion battery material project of Shanghai Putailai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. with total investment of RMB5 billion, and opening ceremony of major projects of Liyang was held on April 13th in Zhongguancun science and technology park of Jiangsu.
Shanghai Putailai Group mainly engages in the research, production and selling of lithium ion battery key materials and automated processing equipments with all of its technologies standing at advanced levels. Having established close relationship in business cooperation with many lithium companies in both home and abroad, the group submitted to China Securities Regulatory Commission the application to be listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange in June 2016.
Its lithium ion battery material project which is invested in Zhongguancun science and technology park of Jiangsu mainly includes the research, production and selling of membrane, film and cathode materials and it has established the cooperation relationship with Institute of Physics of Chinese Academy of Science in mass production of new type silicon-carbon composite material, planning to invest RMB5 billion with the initially planned land of 420 mu. It is expected that some constructions of the mass production project will be finished before late 2017.
