HR strip prices in major markets of China saw a downward trend during this month because of lower raw material costs and decrease in steel mills’ list prices. Expecting the price to go down further, customers without urgent need for materials were just holding a wait-and-see attitude and refusing to place orders. Insiders do not think the market will improve in the coming month on weak customer demand.
