In February after the end of the Spring Festival, transactions for indium ingot 99.99%min in China were relatively limited as market participants were reluctant to purchase although they generally returned to the spot market. Producers for crude indium lowered their operating rates while users mainly consumed stocks they had purchased previously. The lack of the raw material made it difficult to support prices for indium ingot to go up in long term. Thus, prices for indium ingot decreased after the slight increase in mid-February. Market participants generally held an optimistic attitude towards the future market.
