Chinese molybdenum prices rebounded in February. As most upstream molybdenum concentrate producers haven’t resumed normal production, spot supply for the material remained tight. In the meantime, tender prices form steel mills recovered and ferromolybdenum producers slightly raised quotations to see where the market would go. Overseas prices in the molybdenum market skyrocketed, strongly pushing prices up.
