Sun Cable's first oxygen free copper rod production line goes into operation

Fujian Nanping Sun’ Cable Co., Ltd., located in electromechanical equipment park of Jiangnan new area in Nanping, put its first production line for oxygen free copper rod into operation on 22 February, which is one month earlier than expected.
The company’s copper cathode production line with capacity of 60,000tpy and supported cable project with 20,000tpy, which were invested 550 million yuan, were started of construction in last August by two phases; the former was assigned as phase I and the latter phase II.
The one which goes into operation is the first production line and the second line is about to be put into production; both of the two lines can achieve an annual capacity of 20,000t of oxygen free copper rod with values of about 1 billion yuan; and the newly increased value will be 3.25 billion yuan after the project reaches full capacity.
