India's steel output increased by 12% in Jan

According to report, India’s domestic steel output rose by 12% to 8.4 million tons in January compared to the same period in 2016. The country’s crude steel output reached 7.5 million tons.
The figure is higher than overall year-on-year 7% rise of the world's crude steel output to 136.5 million tons in January 2017.
China’s output was accounting for half of global output and its crude steel output rose by 7.4% to 67.2 million tons compared with the same period of last year.
Germany’s total crude steel output was 3.6 million tons in January, rose by 1.2% compared with the same period of last year.
