Ningde builds world's largest industrial base of Li-ion battery new energy

The investment promotion conference of Li-ion battery new energy industrial chain was held in Ningde on 18 February. About 20 projects were signed in the conference with the investment of RMB4.6 billion in total, and 113 enterprises both at home and abroad were invited with 265 traders coming.
The conference referred to 29 both upstream and downstream industrial chain projects of Li-ion battery new energy with the investment of RMB11.2 billion, and 20 projects signed on site with the investment totaling RMB4.6 billion. These projects include both upstream and downstream products such as coating material and aluminum plastic material of Li-ion battery isolating membrane, anode and cathode materials, isolating membrane, aluminum foil, copper foil, electrolyte, lithium battery components, battery shell and mould, which cover the whole industrial chain of Li-ion battery new energy.
Recently, Ningde released seven measures to promote the development of Li-ion battery new energy industrial chain, including special supports on brain gain, brand building and equipment subsidies. It is anticipated that the total scale of the industrial chain will be above RMB100 billion by 2020; in particular, the output value of battery industry will reach RMB70billion, which includes consuming RMB20 billion of electronic battery, RMB40 billion of power battery and RMB10 billion of energy storage systems. The industrial output value of supporting materials and equipment will exceed RMB30 billion, driven by the battery industry.
