The cadmium ingot spot market saw no apparent improvement in tight supply in October, so prices climbed to further. Domestic producers stated that increasing prices for crude cadmium and tight supply exerted a negative effect on cadmium ingot production; some producers have arranged production plans to mid-November. In the export market, as Japanese producers suspended their productions in October, cadmium rod was mainly imported from North Korea and the offer was almost similar to the offer for Chinese cadmium ingot 99.99%min, alleviating tight supply for cadmium ingot in the Chinese spot market.
