MIIT vest-minister conducts legislative research in Gansu Rare Earth and Baiyin Non-ferrous Metal

On December 15, a team under the led by Liu Lihua, the vest minister of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China, went to Baiyi city, Gansu province, to conduct legislative research on Gansu Rare Earth Group, Baiyin Non-ferrous Metal Corporation and other enterprises
Rare earth, copper, lead, zinc and other non-ferrous metals are significant and strategic resources of China, with great importance to develop national economy. China will adapt to the development of industry, further improve industry management and strengthen the construction of related legal system based on creative, coordinated, green, open and shared ideas on development to create favorable environment for the sustaining development of rare earth and non-ferrous metal industry of China.

During the research, Liu Lihua made spot investigations on integrative production line, polishing powder workshop and effluent treatment project of Gansu Rare Earth Group as well as copper smelting and comprehensive utilization of slag resources and other projects of Baiyin Non-ferrous Metal Corporation .
