Chinese tantalum and niobium market saw inactive buying activities in October as demand from end users remained dim. Suppliers had to win limited orders by lowering their offers. At the same time, overseas tantalum ore producers’ output increased slightly and prices decreased according to oversupply. As demand failed to rebound, sources were pessimistic about the future market.
