The prices of overseas selenium powder continued to advance in June, but demand in the Chinese market remained weak with limited transactions. Domestic suppliers had difficulties providing quotations as the market price was in disarray with most participants standing on the sidelines. It is expected that the price of MB material is unlikely to go down in June, so the domestic selenium powder price may increase.
Prices for Chinese tellurium metal were in decline during June with notable reductions. The price of the metal is expected to go down further in July but with limited room.
