In May, the demand from Indian consumers kept steadily and cadmium ingot producers started to offer forwardly, so the prices of cadmium ingot in domestic and overseas markets began to slip. Most insiders were pessimistic about future market and thought cadmium ingot price would decrease with a large markup to the previous level after the support from strong demand. Cadmium oxide proudcers adjusted the price slightly and the inventory was excess.
