In May, as the demand from downstream consumers had no improvement, the prices of antimony concentrate, antimony ingot and antimony trioxide decreased in domestic and overseas markets. Impacted by the strict environmental protection request, a part of producers started to halt production and the situation was more serious in Hechi and Baise Guangxi. It was learned that the producers in Guangxi would plan to resume production in mid-June. Traders accepted orders cautiously in spot market and dowmstream end-users purchased according to production, so the concluded deal volume was rare.
