Prices for Chinese tungsten concentrate edged up in April as major miners reduced output to support price combined with reports on government reserves. Most consumers still held a cautious attitude toward replenishment and only made purchases of raw material based on orders. As upstream suppliers hold their quotations firm, prices for downstream products are expected to move up in the future.
