Most tungsten concentrate producers continued to raise their quotations in March while APT and tungsten carbide producers mainly produced for long term orders due to the tight supply for raw material. Affected by unstable prices, producers for tungsten concentrate made quotations cautiously and received limited orders in the spot market. Meanwhile, consumers from downstream cemented carbide sector still held a wait-and-see attitude towards the market, purchasing from hand to mouth.
