Steel plate prices failed to go up during the traditional peak period known as “Golden September”.Instead, they fellcontinually in most domestic markets, dragged down by weak demand from downstream industries. With a lack ofconfidenceinthe market outlook, most traders were cautious about supplementing inventories. Insiders do not think the price will rebound in October.
